The light grass

Who are you, that
Who has made a root
Like a light grass
In my steps, that are getting
More and more clumsy
In my heart
That trembles like a leaf
When the storm comes
Because it may take it.

Who are you, that
Who has made a root
Of darkness over my light
In my thought
That is getting
More and more heavy
In my life
That I would give to others
And I would just walk away

With you, grass of light and darkness
Because you don’t pin down a root
You always pass by and go into the wide world
You raise, you give and you fall down
You cut, you cripple and you age
And to everybody you smile

With a beam of darkness and light
Without any root.
