Beads are spread all over the beach
Shells, pearls and colourful stones
The sea is whispering, is laughing and is rumbling
When from deep down she rummages them
And adorns the beach with their beauty
But the sea is sad and it is teardropping
It send its shrunken sorrow
Into the stones, the shells, and the pearls
Let the sea and its sorrow lounge
In a long string of beads
Around my darling’s neck
But my darling does not wish for beads
Brought out of sorrow
And so the furious sea
Kissing the naked body, is whirling
And takes its beads back to its nothingness.
